What is Pigbase?
A complete pig-management application.
Pigbase is a web-based pig management system that serves the pig industry in Eswatini.
It is designed to help farmers seamlessly manage their pig farms, boost performance and increase productivity. The platform strengthens record keeping across input-supply procurement, production and sales.
Pigbase was developed in 2019 by the Ministry of Agriculture's Department of Veterinary and Livestock Services under the Pig Industry Enhancement Project, sponsored by Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Fund. Its original purpose was to help Eswatini pig farmers keep proper records for optimum performance.
